How much do the domains cost?
Between $95 and $395, fixed and shown upfront. No auctions, no bidding wars, no haggling. After that you owe your registrar the usual yearly renewal, and nothing to us.
Do I need an account to buy?
Not to pay. An email address and a card is the whole of it. To receive the domain you need a free Namecheap account, and the transfer invite we send makes one for you as you go if you don't have one.
How long until the domain is mine?
We send the invite within 24 hours, usually less. From there it is yours to accept, and the domain moves the moment you do. The invite is good for 7 days.
How does the domain actually reach me?
We keep our domains at Namecheap and send a transfer invite to the email you paid with. Accept it and the domain drops into your account: free, instant, no auth codes, no five-day transfer window. You are not stuck there either, and can move it to any registrar you like afterwards.
How do you pick them?
By hand, with one filter: would we seriously consider building on this ourselves? Short, easy to say out loud, easy to spell, and it sounds like a startup or an app you would want to try. Everything else gets cut.
Can I buy something from an old issue?
Yes. Every domain we have featured stays on the site, and anything still available is still yours at the same price it was listed at.
